Welcome!

Every two years, the Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department of Instituto Tecnológico de Durango organizes the Chemical Engineering International Symposium in order to provide students and professionals with lectures and courses given by international speakers in different areas of Chemical Engineering.

This year's event, with the tagline A Global Challenge, focuses mainly in the challenges to be faced in the near future, in particular climate change and global warming. In both cases, the scientific and engineering community has the knowledge necessary and the responsibility of developing technologies to prevent or mitigate these issues.

Our world is one and the same. Its environment is not divided by country borders. The challenge is global. The challenge calls for all of us.
